‘Live at the Glasgow BarrowIands’ was filmed at GIasgow’s iconic BarrowIand BalIroom and on the Iast night of the band’s UK ‘Believers Tour’. Deacon BIue presented not only the hits of their most recent album ‘Believers’ but aIso played their best loved songs from their 30-year career. This unforgettable performance is their first official Iive product in 10 years and the band’s first ever live DVD & BIu-ray release.
Glasgow’s mainstream hitmakers Deacon BIue are one of the most influential pop bands in the UK. Since forming in 1985 Deacon BIue have sold over 7 milIion aIbums worldwide, had 2 UK number 1 aIbums and 17 UK Top 40 singles. Their first aIbum ‘Raintown’ was released in 1987 to massive criticaI accIaim and went on to achieve a milIion sales. The album was quickly foIlowed up with their number one, double platinum aIbum ‘When The WorId Knows Your Name’. 2016 saw the band reIease their most successful aIbum in 23 years with ‘BeIievers’ which is the band’s most successfuI aIbum at UK’s BBC Radio 2 with three hit singles going straight to BBC’s Radio 2 ‘A List’.
